After it was determined that little Mary Miller now possesses mental powers and can control people's minds, Dr. Julia Reynolds was released and sent home on administrative leave, the weary woman sent home with police protection should Mary try and return. Embarassed, used, and quite upset with Mary, all Julia wants to do is go home and sleep, her ego damaged, her reputation at stake, and her mind full of thoughts she no longer believes are her own.
But what is waiting for Julia on the other side of consciousness? Having been subjected to Mary's mental powers, Julia is thrown into a universe beyond rhyme and reason, her imagination running wild as the possiblities of her dreams become limitless. But how much of this is Julia's doing? Is her mind now corrupted by Mary and her quest for power? Is Julia actually mad at Mary, or is she still curious about her drug and what it can do for mankind? Does she know what is waiting for her in her bathtub?
