After just a minor dose of what she originally made in her own apartment, and after a few days in a coma as part of the side effects, Mary Miller has gained superpowers. She is stronger. She is smarter. She is telepathic. She is telekinetic. She can fly. Yet after escaping from a government facility, Mary Miller has also taken up the title of 'murderer' after having destroyed an entire helicopter with her mind. With no place else to go, and no clothes to place on her enhanced body, Mary finds herself adrift in the sky high above the world below, resting in the air while trying to figure out what to do next. Quickly mastering her newly granted powers, Mary realizes that the drug she injected into her own body has run its course and done all it can do to her human form. Already getting bored with being able to fly, the naked girl who drifts high above the clouds and away from the government that hunts her knows that her work is not done.
She must make more of her drug. She must become more powerful.
Equipped with her new powers, Mary Miller knows she must somehow sneak back into BioTrek and steal more of what she needs to take another dose. No longer afraid of her drug for she knows it will work, the superpowered scientist decides she might need help with her plan, and that means going to the only person she vaguely trusts: Dr. Julia Reynolds. |
