In her dream, Mary is verbally abused at school by her classmates before she is physically abused by a stray football which smashes her nose into one of her favorite comic books. Bloody and hurt, Mary is sick and tried of everyone at school teasing her, mocking her, and now abusing her simply because she loves science and comics. Yet in that same moment of fury, Mary somehow absorbs the contents of the comic before her, instantly blessed with the telekinetic, pyrokinetic, and telepathic powers of The Red Witch. With vengeance on her mind, Mary unleashes her powers on her school, and then the police, and then anyone who opposes her. As minutes go by, Mary gains even more powers, more abilities, and soon can simply become any superhero, or supervillain, she wants. How far will Mary's revenge-fueled, superpowered rampage go?
